Dr. Akhavian has joined the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at San Diego State University (SDSU). The DiCE research lab is now hosted by SDSU!

Students trip to Panama co-organized by Dr. Akhavian
In collaboration with the Julia Burke Foundation, Hands for Global Health and Hands for Americas nonprofits, and CSUEB Nursing Department, Dr. Akhavian and Dr. Gaedicke led a group of construction management students to build a semi-industrial chicken coop for an underrepresented local community in Panama.
